u-mee announces the launch of the Creative Summer Awards

The Creative Summer Awards aim to showcase Gibraltar's creative talent by using u-mee's social media channel as a platform for exhibiting local artwork, music or videos and encouraging participants to develop their marketing skills through promoting their entries online.

Full details of the three categories will be revealed over the coming days - these reflect the importance of digital creative mediums in our daily lives and how these have merged with traditional artistic pursuits, whether related to photography, music, fine art or moving images.

With over £5,000 in prizes up for grabs, the broadband provider hopes to see participation from all ability levels but, most of all, is looking for entries that make followers of its Facebook smile.

u-mee recommends that people who are interested in taking part - whether by posting a photo or producing a full-blown video piece - 'like' their Facebook page ... and this also applies if you would simply like to be entertained by viewing entries as they are posted throughout the summer.
